How a talmid grows into the daf

A Tikun Kor’imfor Gemara.

A bar mitzvah boy practices from the side with nekudos and trop until he can lain straight from the Sefer Torah. Custom Daf works the same way: every tool your talmid needs at first, then less and less, until the regular daf is his.

Mishlei 22:6

From a mechanech.For mechanchim.

Rabbi Zvi Kamenetzky built Custom Daf after decades in chinuch. A bar mitzvah boy practices from the Tikun until he can lain from the Sefer Torah. A talmid can learn the same way: every tool he needs at first, then less and less, until the regular daf is his.

Haskamos

Before you send your daf.

Can you keep the tzuras hadaf?

Yes. The layout can keep the familiar tzuras hadaf while adding the nekudos, spacing, highlights, or footnotes you ask for.

Won’t my talmid come to depend on the nekudos?

No. Think of a Tikun Kor’im. Each tool comes off when the talmid is ready: first the worksheet lines, then the translation list, the footnotes, the punctuation, and last the nekudos, until he is learning from the regular daf.

What else can I send?

Chumash, Mishnah, halacha, charts, and other teaching material, not only Gemara. Send a PDF, scan, photo, or a sheet you marked up by hand.

Can I request changes later?

Yes. Ask from your order page. Edits to the same file typically cost US$10 to US$15, quoted before any work starts.

How do I pay?

After you submit, Rabbi Kamenetzky reviews the request and emails a quote. You pay by card on your order page, and the 48 hours start from payment.

Who owns the sheet?

You may print and share the sheet with your own talmidim and class. Reselling it, posting it online, or passing it to other schools needs written permission.
